ACLA National Conference
Middletons has been the principal sponsor of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (ACLA) National Conference and Awards since 2007. The conference attracts more than 300 corporate lawyers, general counsel, legal counsel, company directors and company secretaries. This year's 2010 ACLA National Conference will be held in November 2010 in Sydney.
Australian Open
Middletons has been the official law firm of the Australian Open since 2006. The Australian Open is the first of the four Grand Slams held each year. It is one of the largest sporting events in the world, dominating the Australian sporting landscape and eclipsing even test cricket for crowds and television ratings.
L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival
The L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) is Australia's largest and most successful consumer fashion event, bringing together creative industries, business networks and the general public. The Festival includes runway shows, fashion events, celebrations and a cultural program that provides links between fashion, design, art, education and creativity. Middletons has sponsored the LMFF since 2003.
Melbourne Theatre Company
The Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC) is the oldest professional theatre company in Australia. It was established in 1953 and is a not for profit organisation. The MTC is one of Australia's leading arts companies and is considered a flagship of the arts and entertainment industry in Australia. It produces 11 productions each year and many of these productions are Australian works – both new and classic. Middletons has sponsored the MTC since 2007.
Perth 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships
Middletons is delighted to be the sole provider of legal services to the Perth 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships to be held in Fremantle from 3–18 December 2011. The 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships will be the key qualification event for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Sydney Writers' Festival
Middletons is the official law firm of Sydney Writers' Festival (SWF), an annual literary festival held in Sydney. SWF will be held from 17–23 May 2010, featuring the best of both Australian and international writers. Sydney Writers' Festival has become a vital part of the intellectual, cultural and social life of Sydney, drawing an average 80,000 attendees each year.
